Samsung Introduced S730i Phone In Taiwan

Samsung S730i, L768, E848, J608 and S209 have just been introduced in Taiwan and will be available by next month. The Samsung S730i is a slider phone that comes with a 256k colors TFT LCD screen, bluetooth and 80MB internal memory. It is the first i-mode handset that support QR-code capturing/decoding. The phone can also read Microsoft Office Document, and able to stream the display to your TV via the TV-Out cable included. No word on pricing so far. Pictures courtesy of mobile01.

The iPhoneSIMfree.com team claims that they have successfully cracked Apple’s iPhone SIM lock system. The six-man team has been working non-stop since launch day, and they’re officially the first to break Apple’s SIM locks on the iPhone. They created a software which completely SIM unlocks the iPhone. It is restore-resistant, and should make the iPhone fully functional for users outside of the US.

FCC Has Approved Nokia 6500 Mobile Phone

The Almighty FCC has approved the Nokia 6500 phone. This slider sports 3.2MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a TV-out jack (allowing video calls on your TV), a microSD memory card slot, Push-to-Talk, and a USB interface for data synchronization (and concurrent charging when plugged in). In addition, the handset also features a 2.2 inch QVGA screen. Priced at $500, the Nokia 6500 will make an appearance in the third quarter of this year.

Sky IM-U210 HSDPA Phone With T-DMB

Pantech has launched its first HSDPA phone in the Korean market. Known as the SKY IM-U210/U210K, the phone is targeted towards 3G users with its super fast 7.2Mbps download speeds. The chrome plated phone also offers T-DMB so you can watch digital TV the phone. Other features include global roaming thanks to WCDMA, electronic dictionary, 2MP shooter, text viewer and multitasking functionality. The Sky IM-U210 HSDPA will be available in Korea for $530.
