Verizon announced the availability of the new Moto Q music 9m mobile phone from Motorola, featuring an updated design and multimedia interface that allows users to access Verizon’s V CAST Music capabilities. In case you didn’t know, the Moto Q music 9m has an ergonomically optimized keyboard for faster typing and side-scroll thumb wheel for operating the menus in one hand. The handset boasts Windows Mobile 6 operating system, Bluetooth, supports EV-DO for high speed data, a web browser, 1.3MP camera with integrated flash and it can take in up to 4GB capacity microSD memory cards. Its battery offers 215 minutes of talk time and 310 hours of standby time. The Moto Q music 9m retails for $299.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and 2-year service agreement. A 2GB microsd memory card will be included in the package. You can also buy a 4GB card for an additional $149.99, and a stereo headset for $49.99.

Apple has recently released iPhone Software Version 1.0.2, which is the second update to the handheld’s software. According to Apple, version 1.0.2 “includes bug fixes and supersedes all previous versions.” iPhone Software Version 1.0.2 is available through the Check for Updates feature in iTunes.

Here are some pics of the Nokia 6555 3G phones that we posted yesterday. This WCDMA phone comes in a smooth-back fold design with recessed hinge creating a seamless line when open. As a reminder, the 6555 offers a QVGA 16 million color internal display supporting a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, 30MB onboard memory, Bluetooth, camera with 6X zoom and Micro SD card slot. The cell phone is capable of running on North American networks thanks to quad-band GSM and it supports 3G over HSDPA. The Nokia 6555 will be available next month for $270. LG KU990 phone is now on the way to the UK (likely with Vodafone) this fall. The cell phone comes jam packed with a superb 5.1MP digital camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens, image stabilization (likely digital), auto focus, 120fps video, and ISO 800 sensitivity. The handset also has a 3-inch, 240 x 400 touchscreen and offers 3G HSDPA data. There is no word on when this camera phone reaches the U.S. shore.

The refurbished iPhones are now available at The online Apple Store. You can found it under the “Special Deals” section. The 4GB and 8GB models are available for only $399 and $499 respectively. FYI, all Apple Certified Refurbished iPhones include a full one-year warranty, and are also eligible for the AppleCare Protection Plan for iPhone.
