Nokia has recently released a new firmware update for its Nokia N95 phone. The new update features a new Welcome application, tweaks to the camera software with faster shot times, the Nokia Music Store client, new My Nokia SMS tips, and a host of other tweaks and new options.

OGO PDA phone from China supports for quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) networks and provides 2.8inch display and a full Chinese QWERTY keypad. The gadget features 50MB of built-in storage and support microSD slot, offering an addition of 2GB of storage. Other features include the mini USB port. The OGO is currently available exclusive to the Chinese and Taiwanese market.

Good news for Motorola phone’s lovers. The FCC has approved the new RIZR Z6c that features a CDMA connection for calls and EV-DO data in addition to dual band 900MHz and 1800MHz GSM for those who frequently travel around the globe. This allows a phone equipped with the right SIM card to connect to most Asian and European networks and also parts of North American networks like AT&T. The RIZR Z6c will come with a 2MP camera, a microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. There is no word on a launch date nor pricing though.

Sony Ericsson released the special edition of the W880i phone. The handset comes in 18 carat gold plating and offers 1.8 inch 260k color display, 2MP shooter, secondary VGA camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, Memory stick slot and media player. The phone will be available in selected Asian markets. No word on pricing so far.
