Palm will offer a free update for the Treo 700wx this summer. Just make sure that you make a backup of all your data before you update. The update 1.24 is only compatible with the Verizon Treo 700wx. Korean giant Samsung will launch their new “green phone”, called the Samsung W510. The phone is “green” because of its bio-plastic case, which is a natural material extracted from corn that won’t pollute the environment. The new Motorola A1800 is a small touch screen smartphone with a transparent plastic cover. The phone features a 3MP camera with autofocus, 2.4 inch screen with 240×320 display resolution, an integrated GPS receiver, and a 1000mAh battery. However, the handset doesn’t have 3G or Wi-Fi.
