Sony Ericsson will be dropping a new gaming phone called the F305 featuring mere EDGE speeds, a Memory Stick Micro slot, a 2-inch 176 x 220 display and music playback, a built-in accelerometer for motion controlled games. The phone also comes with game-oriented face buttons, and A2DP. The phone will be announced on the 17th. The F305 will hit Q3. [Engadget]

Let’s forget our 1.3MP camera phone. Because the Sony Ericsson will release its new 8.1MP camera phone with autofocus. Also known as Shiho, the Sony Ericsson C905 Phone also adopts face recognition, Smart Contrast, image stabilization, BestPic, red-eye reduction and a xenon flash. Other features include a TV-out port, a 2.4-inch QVGA display with an accelerometer, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi with DLNA-support, and GPS. The battery is good for 380 hours of standby or 9 hours of talk on GSM networks, or 360 hours of standby or 4 hours of talk on 3G networks. Stay tuned for more updates. Samsung today launched the SCH-W480 in Korea. The phone is also called as the “Inner Zoom” phone and looks like a digital camera. This camera phone has 5MP CCD camera module with a 3x optical inner zoom lens and a 4x digital zoom lens. The camera also features auto-focus and face detection functions.
