Nokia X6 is finally making its way to British customers starting on November 27th via Orange UK. The handset will be offered for free to those who sign a contract agreement and opt for a monthly plan of at least £35. As a reminder, the phone features a 3.2-inch 360 x 640 touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, a 32GB of on-board memory, stereo speakers, GPS, WiFi, a 3.5mm headset jack, TV-out and supports both GSM and HSDPA connectivities. Nokia has unveiled a new slider handset with a 5-megapixel shooter for the European market. Available in pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple, the Nokia 6700 Slide has a 2.2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240, a 860 mAh battery, and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB). In addition, its camera comes with a built-in dual LED flash and can record video in MPEG-4 VGA up to 15fps. The Nokia 6700 Slide retails for 160 Euro or around $240. More
Owners of Palm Pre in the UK and Europe are now able to download the latest version of Palm Pre webOS, which was launched in the US earlier this month. The Palm Pre webOS 1.3.1 provides LinkedIn and Yahoo! support for Palm Synergy, improved email and messaging, and Facebook for Palm. Customers can connect to a Wi-Fi network and click on the “Updates”application on their phone to manually download the software update. [Slashgear]

The Mini 3i runs on China Mobile’s flexible OPhone open source platform, and includes the latest in popular entertainment including pre-loaded 139Mail e-mail, Fetion chat and digital maps for navigation. The phone has a large 3.5-inch widescreen display and is also compatible with a range of consumer applications, e-mail platforms, and office productivity software. Samsung Mobile has officially announced the upcoming availability of Samsung Omnia II for Verizon Wireless. The handset will be available beginning on December 2nd for $199.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
