Bharti Airtel has announced the upcoming release of HTC Smart in India via its network. The handset will become available in 30 major cities across India for a suggested retail price of Rs. 9,990 (about $222). To remind you, the HTC Smart offers a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Sense UI, a microSD card slot, HTC Friendstream (integrating Facebook, Twitter and Flickr), an HTML browser, push email, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headset jack, 3G and runs on Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile platform.
