RIM has recently added a new color option ‘Violet’ to its BlackBerry Curve 8530. You’ll be able to pick one up starting today via Verizon Wireless for as little as $0.01 with a new service plan. To refresh your memory, the 8530 offers a 2.46-inch QVGA display, a 2MP camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, a touch-sensitive optical trackpad, a microSD card slot, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and provides access to BlackBerry App World, Facebook and MySpace integration.
