BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Officially Introduced

Another luxury smartphone has just been officially introduced by BlackBerry in collaboration with Porsche Design. Called the Porsche Design P’9983, this third Porsche Design smartphone from BlackBerry comes with sapphire glass for the camera lens, forged stainless steel for the Porsche Design floating logo and chassis, and a special glass-wave technology for the back door. Now let’s move on to the specs, the Porsche Design P’9983 has a 3.1-inch 720 x 720 24-bit color OLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8960) processor, a 2GB RAM and a 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), a full QWERTY physical keyboard, a 2MP front-facing camera with 720p HD video recording and an 8MP autofocus rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording. Connectivity-wise, it sports 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and GPS GLONASS. Powered by a 2100mAh removable battery, the Porsche Design P’9983 runs on BlackBerry 10.3 OS. The Porsche Design P’9983 will be available starting in October 2014 via Porsche Design stores, select carriers and retailers around the world for 1,650 Euro (about $2,130). [Product Page]
