
Garmin and Asus has joined together to release a new smartphone in the form of the Android-powered A50. The handset boasts a 3.5-inch HVGA resolution capacitive touchscreen display with a 3-megapixel Auto Focus camera, and a 4GB of storage space that is upgradable via a microSD memory card slot. What makes the Garmin Asus A50 more special is that it supports a finger-friendly user interface and Garmin’s pre-loaded turn-by-turn navigation. Garmin-Asus has begun taking pre-orders for their upcoming smartphone ‘Nuvifone M10′ in Taiwan. This new handset will run on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system and feature a 3.5-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display, a Qualcomm 7227 600MHz processor, a 5MP camera, a 512MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, a 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 1500 mAh battery. Garmin-Asus has finally and officially released its Nuvifone G60 phone. The G60 will be available in Taiwan on July 27, 2009. Meanwhile, the phone will be also released in Singapore and Malaysia in August 2009. Also in August, Garmin-Asus will launch the Windows Mobile Nuvifone M20 smartphone in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand. There is no info on pricing of these handsets. Asus has rolled out its latest Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone, the P835. The phone is equipped with a 3.5-inch WVGA (800×480) touchscreen display, a 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor, a 5 megapixel AutoFocus camera, 4GB of internal storage, a microSDHC card slot, a Blackberry-like trackball, a pre-loaded Opera Mobile for web surfing, and the company’s new and improved Glide user interface. The handset also comes with 3G networking over 7.2Mbps HSUPA and supports GPS navigation, Bluetooth, as well as WiFi. No word on pricing and availability so far. [Ubergizmo]

The Garmin Asus Nuviphone M20 will be released later this year. The company also announces the Nuviphone G60, that features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, built-in accelerometer, pre-loaded maps of your region, a 3MP shooter with geo-tagging ability and Ciao! location-based social tool. The handset also supports HSDPA/3G connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The company has promised a “first half of 2009″ release. [Newlaunches]

This new all-in-one mobile phone will feature a 2.8″ VGA touchscreen display, 3 megapixel autofocus camera, full QWERTY soft keyboard, 4GB/8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, Garmin sat nav, mobile web-browser and premium navigation system.
