If you’re looking for a new 3G handset, then can check out Pantech’s clamshell C710, which will be released this summer. This black clamshell phone provides UMTS data on both 850MHz and 1900MHz bands, but unfortunately it is tuned in to North America’s GSM frequencies only. The phone also sports an internal and external TFT LCD display, a 1.3MP camera, dual speakers, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo support, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion options. LG comes back with two new clamshells for CDMA networks. The first clamshell phone is LG VX-8700 that sports a 2MP digital camera, EV-DO radio connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and a microSD expansion. The second clamshell phone is the LG LX-570 music phone which features a glossy black coat, a 1.3MP shooter, FM tuner, EV-DO and Bluetooth and a tune-controlling D-pad. There’s also a micro-SD slot for extra storage.

There is no news on the release date of price of the LG VX-8700 and the LG LX-570 as yet. But I’m sure they will be available soon.
