
Taiwan-based Altek is ready to release its first Android smartphone, the A14 Leo. What makes this handset interesting is that it has a superb 14MP AutoFocus camera with a Xenon flash and a 3x optical zoom. Powered by the Google Android 2.1 Eclair, the Leo also features a 3.2-inch WVGA multitouch capacitive display, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA, GPS, an 800MHz processor and a microSD card support. Nokia has unveiled the new Nokia C6-01 that features an 8MP digital camera with dual LED flash instead of a single LED flash. Priced at €279 or around $360, this camera phone has recently appeared at Nokia Netherlands’ official website. The Nokia C6-01 features a QWERTY keyboard, a 360 x 640 pixels touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS and Ovi Maps with free navigation etc. [PortableGear]

Word has it that Sony Ericsson will release their latest candybar phone namely the Sony Ericsson Susan. The camera phone will come with a 5MP shooter with a LED flash. Word has it that the Sony Ericsson C905 will be released via AT&T on July 19th, 2009. The phone supports an 8MP digital camera with Xenon flash and 30fps QVGA video recording, a 240×320 resolution LCD display, GSM/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and aGPS. No word on pricing so far. [BoyGenius]

This camera phone offers an integrated FM radio with recorder, MP3 playback, Torchlight functionality, microSD memory card slot, GPRS, Mobile tracker, Call blacklist and SMS scheduler. If you are a SKYPE user, then you might like this one. ASUS has released the first videophone fully integrated with Skype called the AiGuru SV1. The standalone videophone works without the need of a computer system. You just have to connect the SV1 to your network via a wired Ethernet connection or via Wi-Fi.
