Still remember the Porsche P’9521 clamshell phone? Here is the updated details about the handset. The phone has a useful fingerprint scanner to give your phone more secure. Each of your fingers can be assigned a speed dial or most used function. The phone also comes equipped with 3.2MP camera with auto-focus lens and an OLED screen which will shower bright colors with very low power consumption. Porsche Design’s P’9521 cellphone features the ability to rotate the screen 180°, turning this mobile phone into a digital camera in a snap. For better security, the phone also comes equipped with a fingerprint reader, so you no longer need to remember any more PIN numbers. The handset will be released this fall in Porsche Design Stores and specialist cellphone retailers. Sadly, it won’t be available in the U.S., Korea, and Japan for some reason.

Samsung SPH-W2400 has a design that reminds us of earlier DMB handsets. The SPH-W2400 a.k.a. the SCH-W240 offers a wide range of multimedia functions including a built-in MP3 player, DMB support, and TV-out. The phone also provides a 2MP digicam, and Bluetooth connectivity. The device is actually an HSDPA handset, which means it is compatible with 3.5G technology worldwide. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing so far.

Rumors say that Samsung T729 and T419 phones will be available soon from T-Mobile USA. The Samsung SGH-T729 is actually a replacement of Samsung SGH-T719 and the MotoRIZR. This slider phone features SureType hybrid keyboard and BlackBerry Connect and packs a 1.3MP camera and 176×220 (262k colors) display. The Samsung SGH-T419 is a clamshell with a VGA camera, 128×160 screen, Bluetooth and sports an integrated antenna. There is no official confirmation yet from either Samsung or T-Mobile USA.

The Hummer HT1 mobile phone has a 2MP camera, a built-in FM radio, a microSD slot for expansion options, and GPRS connectivity. Available in camouflaged khaki green, sable (dark silver), and bright yellow colors, the slider phone runs on GSM networks with GPRS Internet support. It should work on at least a basic level in the US, though complete support for American providers is still unknown. The Hummer HT1 will retail in Europe for $409.
