MOTOKRZR K1m Launched by Verizon Wireless

Motorola and Verizon Wireless have launched the MOTOKRZR K1m, which is the CDMA version of the K1. The Motorola K1m features a 1.9 inch 65k color display screen, a 1.3MP digicam with 4x zoom, video capture and playback, music player with both V CAST Music and MP3 support, dedicated music keys on the outside, and optional expandable microSD memory. The handset is now available online on Verizon Wireless’ website for US$199.99 with a new two-year customer agreement. Moreover, the phone will be available in Verizon Wireless stores starting on October 5 for US$199.99 after a US$50 mail-in rebate and new two-year customer agreement.

LG AX390 Mobile Phone

LG Electronics and Alltel Wireless launched the LG AX390 which is equipped with Alltel’s Touch2Talk walkie-talkie service. This service lets you to upgrade walkie-talkie calls to regular wireless calls and lets you to send messages to all members of a Touch2Talk group. This mobile phone doesn’t have digital camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Measuring 1.8 Inches x 3.3 Inches x .9 Inches, this CDMA handset has a speakerphone on the handset and it also includes Voice recognition technology. In addition, the LG AX390 has phonebook which can store up to 500 contacts. The AX390 is Axcess Web capable and works on Alltel’s Axcess MobileLink network, which delivers speeds of 40 to 70 kbps with bursts up to 144 kbps. Via the AxcessSM Services provided by Alltel, you can also access some multimedia functions such as Messaging, Ringtones & Wallpaper, Games, E-mail, and Web. The LG AX390 is on sale for $59.99. This phone works well on CDMA 800 MHz, CDMA 1900 MHz and 800 MHz analog.

LG AX355 With Touch2Talk Feature

LG Electronics introduced the LG AX355 which has a 1.3MP digital camera and hands-free Bluetooth(R) wireless technology. The phone measures 1.85 Inch x 3.62 Inch x .89 Inch and weighs around 3.8 oz. The phone works well with CDMA 800 MHz, CDMA 1900 MHz and 800 MHz analog. The phone also supports Axcess Instant Messaging which lets you to chat anytime, anywhere through your AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger accounts. The phone is also Touch2Talk capable which lets you to upgrade to walkie-talkie calls to regular wireless calls and lets you to send messages to all members of a Touch2Talk group. The LG AX355 is capable of Voice dialing and comes equipped with a speakerphone. The AX355 is available from Alltel for $69.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. LG AX355 has 210 minutes of talk time and 230 hours of standby time.

Samsung SCH-V870 is only 8.9mm thick and works well on CDMA network. The handset also supports EV-DO (800Mhz) and features 1.3MP camera with video capture capabilities. This cellphone may also have a music player and an internal memory slot to store your favourite MP3s. Other features include file viewer, mobile printing, and electronic dictionary which are compatible with businessmen. Unfortunately, there are no word on pricing and availability. But there is a rumour that this cellphone will be available soon in US.

Nextel will launched their new cellphones, the Nextel i880. It seems that the i880 is a small phone with stylish design. No word on pricing and availability. Nokia's Five New Handsets

Nokia is ready to launch five new cell phones. The 6080, 1110i, and 6151 for the GSM users and the 6275(i) and 2875(i) for the CDMA lovers of the world. The only 3G phone among them is the 6151. The 6151 features a 1.3 megapixel camera, 30MB on-board memory, and WCDMA. It will be launched for 240 euros this summer. The 2875(i) has a 1.3 megapixel camera, whereas the 6275(i) supports a 2 megapixel camera. The 1110i sells for 45 euros and being targeted at first time users. The 1110i is ugly since it doesn’t even have a color display. The tri-band 6080 provides FM radio, camera, and EDGE. It will sell for about 180 euros. Via MobileMag.
