Samsung SPH-W2400 has a design that reminds us of earlier DMB handsets. The SPH-W2400 a.k.a. the SCH-W240 offers a wide range of multimedia functions including a built-in MP3 player, DMB support, and TV-out. The phone also provides a 2MP digicam, and Bluetooth connectivity. The device is actually an HSDPA handset, which means it is compatible with 3.5G technology worldwide. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing so far.
Samsung has launched its new DMB phone SCH-B710 in Korea. This mobile phone is capable of receiving media broadcast from both S-DMB and T-DMB network. The SCH-B710 also offers PIP (Picture In Picture) function which lets you watch 2 channels at the same time.
Verizon Wireless and Samsung have announced the new Samsung SCH-u620, which is the first mobile phone to support Verizon Wireless’ new V CAST Mobile TV service. The mobile phone comes jam packed with a vibrant two-inch QVGA 240 x 320 pixel LCD screen, a dedicated V CAST Mobile TV key, and a retractable V CAST Mobile TV antenna for optimum viewing. If you’re a movie goer who absolutely must have your favorite movies in a digital format wherever you go, the Sagem My750C could be the right answer for you. The clamshell cellphone comes jam, packed with a 240 x 320 QVGA 262k color internal display which absolutely makes it perfect for watching TV over DVB-H broadcasting and your home videos recorded through the 2MP digital camera with 8x digital zoom. The handset also provides the 25MB internal memory, the microSD slot, an integrated MP3 player, Bluetooth connectivity, and supports WAP 2.0. The price tag is still a mystery. The My750C will be released in Q2 this year at selected countries.

Although having some financial troubles, Pantech & Curitel continues to offer innovative phones such as the Sky IM-U160. Its design is superb and so are the specifications. The phone has a 2.6 inch display, DMB and PMP, a 2MP camera, an electronic dictionary, a Vibration Motor, an MP3 player, 184MB of memory and a MicroSD port. Its 2.6 inches display dominates the phone’s design. When closed, the phone appears to be little more than an attractive display. Sadly, the Sky IM-U160 is only available in Korea.
