A Korean manufacturer Point-I is supposedly working on the “TocToc” GPS, an add-on that would provide the same kind of functionality offered by onboard GPS receivers with map support. Airis T482 GPS Phone

Airis will be releasing the new T482 GPS phone in France. The Airis T482 will feature quad-band GSM support, GPRS / EDGE connectivity, a 416MHz Marvell PXA270 processor, 64MB of RAM, a 3.2-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera and a microSD expansion slot. Additional features include a SiRFStar III GPS receiver, bluetooth 2.0, 802.11b/g WiFi, FM tuner and a rechargeable Li-ion. The T482 will be starting at €424 ($671) for French maps, €478 for Europe or €399 ($631) without pre-installed routing software. [Navigadget]

Unusually, Garmin which is a GPS company, is releasing a phone with an awesome interface. It features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, High Speed 3G access, Google Local search, and geotagging capability with the camera. No word on pricing or availability, but when it comes out the iPhone might have some competition.

Supa a company from Taiwan, has released a gps tracking phone. The GT1000 tracking phone Features quad-band GSM / GPRS, a SiRFstarIII chipset, storage for up to 1440 way points, Geo Fence with alarms sent via SMS ,a dedicated SOS button, and upgradable storage via T-Flash. So far those are the only specs revealed.

The Ai Li Xin 8108, a China mobile phone has just released and comes with GPS functionality, and is a side flip phone. It has a 1.8 inch outside display screen, 3.0 inch inner display screen, 1GB built-in memory, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a microSD slot, you get a navigation keys as well, along with music keys and speakers. China is currently selling this baby for $197.
