Hitachi has done nicely as far as cell phones go so far with the W61H. The back side of the new Hitachi W61H is has an e-display or “Silhouette screen” and available in 95 patterns. The Hitachi handset can support 250 minutes of call time along with a 2.8-inch WQVGA display, 2GB microSD, 1.97 megapixel camera and 1-Seg. It should release in Japan by the end of March.

The Hitachi W51H is the clamshell phone that has a 2.9 inch wide display with the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The handset also supports an external color display, a fingerprint scanner to safeguard your sensitive data, a 2MP shooter with LED Flash, a 30MB of onboard memory, and a MicroSD slot for additional storage capacity. From this configuration, it seems that the phone is targeted towards business users. The Hitachi W51H measures 50mm ×106mm ×22mm and weighs 142 grams. It is now available in Japan via the KDDI network.
