FCC has approved the Motorola FOMA M702iG cell phone. The M702iG is geared up for mobile internet and offers a full-featured email client. FOMA, which stands for Freedom of Mobile databox Access, is based on W-CDMA standards, so you can imagine blazing speeds when accessing data on this cell phone. Moreover, the phone also supports video calling and a 2MP camera. Other features on the M702iG include Bluetooth connectivity, infra red, English-Japanese dictionaries, and support for microSD memory cards. No word on pricing and availability yet.

Sprint to Launch Motorola’s Newest Handsets

Sprint to Launch Motorola's Newest Handsets

Sprint will launch the latest in Motorola handsets, the MOTOKRZR, the MOTORAZR and the MOTOSLVR. Through the Sprint Power Vision EVDO network, these cell phones will have exclusive access to NFL Mobile, Sprint TV, Sprint Movies, the Sprint Music Store and Sprint Power View. They will be the only handsets to offer access to these services. Customers interested in the Motorola KRZR are encouraged to register to be notified when the phone become available for purchase. All of the handsets are expected to arrive in early November, 2006.

Motorola launched the MS800 in Korea, which is their latest phone that also supports DMB. With this phone, you are able to watch TV on the phone. MOTOKRZR K1m Launched by Verizon Wireless

Motorola and Verizon Wireless have launched the MOTOKRZR K1m, which is the CDMA version of the K1. The Motorola K1m features a 1.9 inch 65k color display screen, a 1.3MP digicam with 4x zoom, video capture and playback, music player with both V CAST Music and MP3 support, dedicated music keys on the outside, and optional expandable microSD memory. The handset is now available online on Verizon Wireless’ website for US$199.99 with a new two-year customer agreement. Moreover, the phone will be available in Verizon Wireless stores starting on October 5 for US$199.99 after a US$50 mail-in rebate and new two-year customer agreement.

Motorola’s E690 is a Smartphone that features a a 2.0-megapixel camera, 240 x 320 QVGA touchscreen display, an SD/MMC card slot, two “3D Surround” speakers, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. No word on price or availability. Via Gizmodo.

The E690 is a PDA/phone that runs on Linux, yes, Linux. It has standard PDA touchscreen and writing functions, as well as some decent multimedia support - including every video and audio file you could want played.
