O2 Cocoon Music Phone

The O2 Cocoon features FM radio alarm clock and has a 3.5mm socket. The phone has a 2GB storage that can be doubled to 4GB using the Micro SD slot. The controls for the MP3 player are on the outside. Other specs include Bluetooth A2DP, 2MP shooter with flash and AF plus the ability to handle DRM-free AAC iTunes Plus downloads. The 3G O2 Cocoon phone will be released in the UK in August for $590.

The Samsung UpStage is now available in a new fashionable red color. The phone comes with Sprint Music Manager to upload MP3 files from your PC onto the phone via USB. Bluetooth stereo allows you to enjoy music wirelessly. The Red UpStage also sports a 1.3MP camera and microSD slot that can support up to 2GB cards. Its battery provides up to 16 hours when listening to music. Measuring 4.07inch x 1.73inch x 0.37inch, the phone retails for $99 with two-year service agreement and $50 credit.

DNET X2 Mobile Phone

DNET X2 phone is a really special handset which allows users to use two GSM SIM cards at once. The phone comes in a unique design and provides a 2.2 inch touch screen display, and a media player. The DNET X2 also sports microSD card slot, and features 64-polyphonic ringtones. It has a camera module but we are not sure about its Mega pixels. The price tag would reach somewhere around $7800.

The Haier Elegance - The World

The Haier Elegance is said to be the “World’s smallest GSM phone featuring an MP3 player”. The phone is launched for UK market with the price tag of $330(after conversion). The Haier Elegance weights at just 64g and 90.6mm x 35.3mm x 18.2mm in dimension. Other features include an MP3 player with 128MB of storage capacity (expandable by 1GB via Micro SD), FM tuner, stereo Bluetooth, OLED display, and Tri-Band GSM. Its battery offers three hours of talktime and 11 hours MP3 playback. Pricing is still in a mystery.

KTF Korea To Release Two New Handsets

KTF Korea has recently announced that they will be released both the EV-W200 and EV-K200 cellphones in Korea. The EV-W200 boasts a 2MP camera, an integrated MP3 player, video phone capability, an electronic dictionary, and Bluetooth connectivity, while the EV-K200 sports a 1.3MP camera, MP3 playback, a Collins English dictionary, and Bluetooth capability.
