Verizon Wireless will be releasing the LG VX8700 later today. In case you didn’t know, the handset comes equipped with a 2MP shooter, a QVGA display, and Bluetooth connectivity with stereo A2DP support. Measuring 3.82 inch x 1.95 inch x 0.54 inch and weighing 3.77oz, this clamshell also sports a microSD memory card slot, speakerphone functionality, MP3 and WMA file format support, and an address book that can hold up to a thousand entries. No word yet on pricing.

Kyocera released a new clamshell E2000 that boasts high speed 1x EV-DO connectivity for a fast downloads of both music and video-on-demand. The mobile phone comes jam packed with stereo Bluetooth A2DP support, external music controls, a microSD memory card slot to carry even more media files, a 1.3MP shooter, and a 2 inch TFT display. This dual-band digital phone will be available sometime in fall this year.

The Super Audio Phone by the great Chinese comes equipped with a big speaker and a separate LCD at the back to display the song title and FM radio channel info. The mobile phone also features off line mode, so you can play the music or listen to the FM radio without a SIM card. No news on pricing and availability yet.

Alltel Wireless and LG have announced the LG AX8600 ultra-slim phone. Available in Marine Blue, Apple Green and Shimmering Gold, it boasts an MP3 player with touch-sensitive external keys, a 1.3MP camera/camcorder, Alltel’s Celltop technology and entertainment applications including Alltel’s Axcess TV and XM Radio Mobile. The LG AX8600 is now available from Alltel Wireless for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
