
Nokia has rolled out another one of its candybar phone namely the Nokia 6730 classic that will soon make its way across Vodafone’s global footprint starting June, meaning in many European markets, as well as some African and Asian ones. This new handset runs on Symbian S60 and features a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 16 million colors, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, GPS, Nokia Maps, personal & business email, Mobile Internet support, Vodafone Music Client, a 1GB microSD card, Bluetooth and supports both quad band GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) as well as dual band HSDPA connectivity (900/2100 MHz). Nokia has announced their new slider phone, the Nokia 6600i, which is actually the successor of the Nokia 6600 slide that was launched about a year ago. The main difference between the 6600 slide and 6600i slide is that the new phone comes packed with a 5MP camera with dual LED flash, meanwhile, the old phone only comes with a 3.2MP camera. This new phone is also touted as Nokia’s smallest 5 megapixel slider with a relatively affordable price of just €200 ($271). Nokia has officially announced the availability of the N97 NAM in the US market. They will release the phone on June 2nd, 2009. You can also expect many of the U.S. retailers to sell the Nokia N97 NAM for around $600 even if the suggested price is $699. Nokia has unveiled their latest clamshell phone namely the Nokia 7020, which is the reminiscent of the Supernova series. This fashion phone comes equipped with a 2.2-inch TFT display with 240 x 320 resolution, an external display with 128 x 160 resolution, 2MP camera, a 45MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, an MP3/MPEG-4 player, a stereo FM radio and a standard Li-Ion 860 mAh battery. Orange and Nokia has joined together to release “Comes With Music” service exclusively for Orange customers on the Nokia 5800. This service will be available across a selection of Orange pay monthly price plans and upgrades from Friday 29th May 2009. [Slashphone]

The picture of the upcoming Nokia 5900 XpressMusic has been unveiled. The handset will be powered by the Symbian OS, a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, and a 5MP camera. It could be the successor to the famous Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Stay tuned for more updates. More
