
Nokia will launch three new CDMA handsets for the Chinese market. This includes the Nokia 6316s, Nokia 3806 and Nokia 1506. The 6316s has a 2.2-inch display with 320×240 resolution, a 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1 support. Available in black, gold and red, this slider phone is the most advanced device that supports for China Telecom’s 3G data network, a built-in GPS receiver and media playback with dedicated controls.
The Nokia 3806 is a candybar phone that provides 3G data network support, a 2.2-inch display with 320×240 resolution, a 2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1 support. Available in black, white and gold, the handset has a memory card slot allowing users to add up to 4GB of storage space. What makes the Nokia 3806 unique is that it has the integrated Health Assistant providing advice on issues like stress.
Available in black and plum, the Nokia 1506 is an entry-level CDMA handset that boasts a voice recorder, a handsfree speaker and long battery life. T-Mobile will launch the new entry-level clamshell phone from Nokia namely the Nokia 3711. The cell phone comes jam packed with a 2-megapixel shooter, Bluetooth, an FM radio, GPS, a microSD card expansion and a QVGA display. Nokia will launch the Nokia X6 Symbian touchscreen phone in the UK on November 12th, 2009. Priced at around $878, the high-end handset comes jam packed with a 3.2 inch (360 x 640 pixels) LCD display, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi (with UPnP), stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack, a TV out, a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, and a 32GB of internal memory. Nokia has announced two new affordable handsets to its range namely the Nokia 2220 (pictured above) and 2690. The Nokia 2220 is a slider phone that sports a 128 x 160 pixels color display, a VGA photo camera, a 32MB of internal memory, an MP3 player, an FM radio, MMS, Ovi Mail support, Bluetooth and supports GSM/GPRS connectivity. The handset will be sold later this year for $66. Meanwhile, the Nokia 2690 is a candybar phone that comes with the same features as the 2220 but adds a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. Folks at the FCC have approved the new Nokia X3 phone, which means that this Symbian S40-powered handset will be available in the US market very soon. The Nokia X3 will feature a 2.2-inch QVGA display with a 3.2-megapixel camera, an integrated stereo FM radio, stereo speakers, dedicated music keys, a 3.5mm headset jack, a microSD memory card slot, and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
