Nokia is ready to launch five new cell phones. The 6080, 1110i, and 6151 for the GSM users and the 6275(i) and 2875(i) for the CDMA lovers of the world. The only 3G phone among them is the 6151. The 6151 features a 1.3 megapixel camera, 30MB on-board memory, and WCDMA. It will be launched for 240 euros this summer. The 2875(i) has a 1.3 megapixel camera, whereas the 6275(i) supports a 2 megapixel camera. The 1110i sells for 45 euros and being targeted at first time users. The 1110i is ugly since it doesn’t even have a color display. The tri-band 6080 provides FM radio, camera, and EDGE. It will sell for about 180 euros. Via MobileMag.

Nokia Releases N91, First Hard Drive Phone in US

Nokia’s new N91, the first hard-drive-based phone in the US, appeared on the Nokia USA Web site with a surprisingly reasonable $599.99 price. It is a Symbian Series 60 smartphone with a 4 gigabyte hard drive and 2-megapixel digital camera. This cellphone supports MP3, AAC, or WMA format. N91 also supports FM radio. The phone connects to the Internet via either EDGE or Wi-Fi. It is now available at Nokia’s new store in Chicago. Via Gearlog.
