The Boy Genius is really genius. He has received word that Pantech will soon be launching their brand new Windows Mobile smartphone device before Xmas. The new Pantech smartphone is rumored to come in the size of a business card, and have three-way slide-out functionality, and various control features. You can only wonder how much battery life this device will have, should the rumored size be correct. A quick search using the Google over the Internets failed to reveal any photos.

ShinyMedia provides two videos of Pantech’s new “Mosquito Repellant” slider phone. You’ll also see the IM-U100 PMP phone in this video, which features a 2.6 inch QVGA display, 2.0MPdigicam, MP3/MOV/VOD support, stereo speaker, MP3 player, and portable media player (PMP) functionality. Pantech launched in Korea the company’s newest cell phone, the IN-S130, which is only 15.9 mm and features a 3.3MP digicam, and a MicroSD port. The handset supports for MS Office and the PDF format. Pantech IN-S130 also has a GPS and an autonomous GPS (connection to the network is not necessary). One more picture after the jump!

Pantech & Curitel announced their new PT-K2700 which has a MPS player with 140MB of memory, a MicroSD port, a 1.3MP digicam, and GPS navigation. This model will only be available at KTF in Korea.
