The Philips 598 is a music phone preloaded with applications for ladies including women’s diary and calendar, buying list, discounts manager, price table, personal card info, body weight index and basal metabolic rate measurement.

The handset runs on GSM Triband 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and comes with a 1.8 inch TFT 262K colors display with 176 x 220 resolution, a 1.3MP camera, 128MB of built-in memory, micro SD slot for memory expansion up to 1GB and support WAP browser, IrDA, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

The new Philips S660 music phone is probably made for low end users. Measuring 101 mm x 43 mm x 18 mm, this candy bar phone has a poor 65k colors CSTN display screen, 128MB internal memory, and USB connectivity. The phone works well at GSM Dual band (900 / 1800 MHz). Additional memory card slot is not supported.

The Philips VOIP841 is the latest digital home communications products from Philips that is showcasing at IFA 2006. Philips launches Music Phone 588 in Taiwan which is specially made for women. It has some pre-installed softwares for women such as: BMI, discount calculator, shopping list, membership card management, and price list record. The phone is lack of memory since it has only 106 MB internal memory. This Philips 588 Music Phone works well on GSM Triband 900 / 1800 / 1900. It measures 80 mm x 42 mm x 18.6 mm. Other features include 1.3MP CMOS camera, music player, 64 polyphonic ringtones, and 65,000 colors display. Using Lithium-Ion 580 mAh battery, it has the battery life up to 300 minutes of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

Philips has just announced their S900, a sleek Smartphone that features a QVGA touchscreen display, 2.0-megapixel camera, MiniSD card slot, and Bluetooth. The S900 will be released in some Asian markets. No word on pricing yet. Via EngadgetMobile.
