Philips has unveiled their latest handset namely the Philips Xenium X830. This new candybar phone sports a touchscreen display with 240 x 400 resolution and 262k colors, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, a music player, an FM radio with RDS, GPS, a 47MB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and supports quad band GSM connectivity with EDGE (no 3G). Philips X550, Another Phone With impressive Battery Lifetime

Philips has added a new member to its Xenium series with the introduction of Philips X550. This new candybar phone offers a QVGA display with 262k colors, a 3.2MP autofocus camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), an FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth and an impressive battery lifetime that lasts up to one month in stand-by mode. Sadly, the X550 doesn’t have any 3G connectivity, it only supports GPRS and EDGE for data transfers, so it might not be sold in the US. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment. More

Upcoming Philips Xenium X810

According to rumors, Philips will release the Xenium X810 in China as a successor to the previously released Xenium X800. The phone boasts touchscreen functionality and has a 240 x 400 pixels TFT touchscreen display with 262K colors, Navigation, Quad-band GSM connectivity with EDGE, a 3.2MP camera with flash, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
