BoyGenius has reported that the RIM BlackBerry Thunder touchscreen phone will be available via Verizon. This hybrid handset sports CDMA EV-DO Rev. C, and GSM HSPA for traveling internationally. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing so far. [BoyGenius]

The BlackBerry 9000 is now officially known as the BlackBerry Bold. The gadget comes equipped with a 480 x 320 display, 2.0MP shooter with flash, 1GB of built-in memory, 128MB Flash memory, 624-MHz Intel PXA270 processor, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, GPS, and a MicroSD/SDHC card slot. Verizon will release the RIM BlackBerry Niagara EV-DO handset in May next year. The phone will feature QWERTY keyboard, 480 × 360 LCD display, EV-DO Rev. A support, aGPS support, a 3.2MP shooter, 4.7 OS platform, BES 5.0 support (HTML email, etc) and a Qualcomm MSM7600 processor. There is no word on pricing so far. [BoyGenius]

Here is a sneak peek of the only ever slider from BlackBerry called the Kickstart. It features a 2 megapixel camera, a SureType keyboard, works on quad-band 850/900/1800/1900Mhz GSM networks and run on BlackBerry OS 4.6. Along with an external screen display of 160×128 pixels and an internal display of 240×320 pixel resolution, wifi and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
