Samsung Introduces Galaxy S5 Plus

Samsung has introduced a new variant of its Galaxy S5 called the Galaxy S5 Plus. Unlike the original Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S5 Plus is packed with a 2.5GHz quad-core Krait 450 processor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, an Adreno 420 GPU and LTE Cat. 6 (upgrading from Cat. 4). Apart from that, the rest of the specs remain the same as the original Galaxy S5, it has a 5.1-inch 1920 x 1080 Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 2GB RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), a 2MP front-facing camera with 1080p@30fps video recording and a 16MP rear-facing autofocus camera with LED flash and up to 2160p@30fps video recording. Samsung’s latest LTE-enabled Android 4.4 smartphone ‘Galaxy Mega 2’ is finally making its way to AT&T. The handset will be available on AT&T starting October 24th for $149.99 with a new two-year contract or $474.99 with no annual commitment. Samsung Galaxy Ace Style LTE Released In Germany

Another quad-core Android 4.4 smartphone from Samsung has just been released in Germany. Called the Galaxy Ace Style LTE, the handset sports a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display (217 ppi pixel density), a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, a 1GB RAM and a 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. The handset also packs a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording at 30fps. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, the Galaxy Ace Style LTE comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS and NFC, and is powered by a 1900mAh battery. Samsung’s latest LTE-enabled Android 4.4 smartphone ‘Galaxy Mega 2’ is finally official. The handset is now listed at Samsung’s official website in Thailand. Already available for purchase in Malaysia earlier this month, the new Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 sports a 6.0-inch 1280 x 720 TFT capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos processor, a 1.5GB RAM and a 16GB of internal storage. The handset also has a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB of storage, a 2.1MP front-facing camera and an 8MP autofocus rear-facing camera with LED flash. Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Tired of Apple’s iPhones, but not to crazy about Samsung’s plasticy Galaxies? Enter the all new Samsung Galaxy Alpha, announced earlier last week, and just now been released. It is the toughest Galaxy phone yet, and you can pre-order starting August 28th. The UK will get it first, starting the first week of September, but we hope that Asia will soon follow. At 7mm not only it is the toughest Galaxy but it is also the slimmest, slickest Galaxy ever built by the Korean cell phone giant. Its innards, however, is mid-range but that makes it just perfect as it won’t be too highly priced, at £499. Stay tuned.
