Samsung U940 AKA the “Glyde,” is now available at Verizon. The Glyde has a 2-megapixel camera, HSDPA of 7.6Mbps, a “drag and drop” touch interface, a 2.8 inch color display, VibeTonz technology, and a full QWERTY keyboard. You can purchase a Glyde for $299 with a two-year contract or $420 sometime in May. [MobileWhack]

Samsung today announced the Samsung D780 dual-SIM cell phone for the Asian and European markets. The phone comes equipped with 2MP shooter with video recording capability, 2.1 inch 256k color QVGA resolution, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0 connectivity, microSD memory card slot, MP3 playback and an integrated FM radio. Samsung will release the HSUPA smart phone SCH-M470. It supports wireless internet features such as video call, web browsing, push mail, and Google browsing along with a 2 Mega pixel camera, wifi, and bluetooth 2.0.
