Samsung SPH-A420 is a clamshell phone with some basic features. You just need to sign up for two year contract with Sprint Nextel and you will get this phone for free. Measuring 86 mm x 43 mm x 23 mm, Samsung SPH-A420 includes a 65k color LCD screen, built-in speakerphone and voice-activated dialing.

The SCH-B500 features a 240 x 320 color display screen, a 2MP digital camera, built-in DMB TV tuner, Bluetooth connectivity, and an MP3 player. This 1.4cm thick cellphone will go on sale in South Korea very soon. But there is no info on pricing. Samsung confirmed that the handset supports the English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Samsung SGH-E870 clamshell phone attracts more female buyers than male. This USD330 handphone is a tri-band clamshell GSM phone that features a large 256K color TFT LCD with resolutions of 176 x 220 and an extra external OLED display with resolutions of 96 x 80. Moreover, it has a 1.3MP built-in digital camera, speaker phone for conferencing, MP3 playback, video playback, 30 polyphonic ringtones, 1000 phonebook entries, photo call, and an integrated Bluetooth module and USB connection. The SGH-E870 provides 80MB of internal memory that can be expanded via a Transflash/microSD slot. The supported file formats include MP3, AAC, AAC++ and WMA. Samsung claimed that SGH-E870 has up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. It weights 85 grams with the size of 92 mm x 42 mm x 166 mm.
