Samsung And Verizon Introduced SCH-A870

Samsung Telecommunications and Verizon Wireless introduced their new SCH-A870 cell phone which can be purchased for $49.99 after $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year customer agreement. The phone comes with a clamshell design and features Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, integrated web browser, camera module with video recording, and built-in music/video player. Other features include VZ NavigatorSM’s Location Based Services, VoiceSignal’s speech recognition, and VibeTonz technology which allows you to download games and ringtones. Samsung SCH-A870 provides 128×160 pixel, 65K TFT Color for internal display screen and 96 x 96 Pixel, 65K STN for external display screen. Dimensions are 3.6 inches x 1.8 inches x 0.85 inches. Its battery has up to 200 minutes of talk time and up to 170 hours of standby time.

FCC Approves Samsung SGH-X830

FCC has approved the Samsung SGH-X830 music phone which measures 85 mm x 29 mm x 20 mm and 74 grams. Samsung SGH-X830 packs with 82MB of internal memory, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 connectivity, a music player, and a 128 x 220 pixels TFT display. Its music player can play MP3, WMA, OGG, DCF, and SMP audio formats.

Samsung Z560 Mobile Phone

Samsung released its first HSDPA handset, the SCH-Z560 mobile phone. HSDPA technology allows a higher speed of data transfer that allows user to watch larger multimedia files such as watching DVD quality videos on your phone. This technology also allows for multimedia games all due to a high speed internet connection that is equal to one that is cabled. The handset has a data transfer rate of 1.8 megabits per second (Mb). With only 16mm thick, SCH-Z560 has a 2MP digital camera, 2.3 inches display screen, and comes with 30 MB of storage. However, you can even add memory by using microSD memory. The cellphone also has video recording and streaming abilities so you can capture moments in moving picture. It weighs only 93 grams. The Samsung Z560 has currently been launched in France and Germany but it will soon be released into other European countries.

The FCC has just apporved Samsung’s 8GB candybar style SGH-i310. This phone packs a punch with its 8GB of memory, 2-megapixel camera, USB port, Bluetooth, and EDGE support.
