Sharp hits back by unveiling their newest 4G LTE-enabled Android 7.0 smartphone, the Aquos Xx3 mini. Measuring 8.6mm thick and weighing 135 grams, this mid-range smartphone sports a 4.7-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD IGZO display (469ppi), an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, a 3GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage.
Japan’s NTT DoCoMo has announced the availability of the Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E. It is known as the world’s first smartphone with an IGZO display. The IGZO display uses the indium gallium zinc oxide technology to provide a higher translucency that normal LCD display. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, this Evangelion-themed Android smartphone features a 4.5-inch 720p display with an Evangelion-themed UI created by director Hideaki Anno’s Khara studio.
