Vertu has unveiled its Ferrari 458 Italia-inspired luxury smartphone, the Vertu Constellation Quest Ferrari GT. This luxury smartphone is available in three variants such as a brushed stainless steel black leather, a polished stainless steel brown leather, and a polished stainless steel black leather. The Vertu Constellation Quest Ferrari GT features the Ferrari logo embossed in the leather on the front face, a polished sapphire crystal, a polished black ceramic and a titanium battery cover. Vertu Constellation T Released

Vertu has finally released the Constellation T smartphone. Powered by the Symbian operating system (Anna or Belle), the smartphone comes equipped with a 3.5-inch nHD AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel digital camera with dual LED flash, a pentaband HSPA radio, a 32GB of onboard storage. Inspired by Ferrari, the new Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT is made of a forged titanium with a matte black PVD finish with red and black hand sewn leather of the same source as Ferrari’s interiors. The side of the phone comes with an enameled representation of Ferrari’s iconic engine block, while the battery cover is made from a high quality ceramic. Only 2011 units will be made. [Sybarites]

FCC Approves Vertu Constellation Quest

FCC has finally approved the Vertu Constellation Quest smartphone that runs on a customized version of Symbian OS. This handset features Wi-Fi, Ovi Maps, a 3.5mm headset jack, various Vertu services, a digital camera with dual LED flash and video recording and a pre-installed 32GB microSD card. The Vertu Constellation Quest retails for around £5,000 and £17,300 ($7,910 – $27,380). [UnwiredView]

Vertu has recently introduced the Signature Pure Black, which is specially handcrafted using the PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technique used in watches. This technique involves vaporizing a block of Titanium Carbide at extremely high temperatures using a plasma beam in a vacuum chamber to create an extremely hard and scratch resistant surface.
