Samsung adds their Le Fleur series which are targeted specifically at women with Samsung E570, Samsung E420 and E500. The Samsung E570 is an upgrade from the Samsung E530. The handset support GSM Tri-band network and has a 1.8 inch 176 x 220 256k color TFT display. This girly lady phone can play MP3, take photo with its 1.3MP camera and connect to other wirelessly through the Bluetooth wireless connection. Girls will definitely love its colors and features. This is an update for my previous post. Samsung and Bang & Olufsen have just announced the availability of Serene, which sets to go on sale next month, priced at a whopping US$1275. The Serene combines advanced features with an innovative clamshell design. Just to refresh your mind, Samsung Serene provides a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT-LCD display, an ugly 0.3MP camera, WAP 2.0, and Bluetooth connectivity. All of these features are just a click away, using the unique thumb-operated navigation wheel, which also has a loudspeaker concealed behind it. During normal operation, the screen is placed at the bottom. When placed on a table, the screen reverses automatically at the touch of a button. When the first time I heard the word “Cyclops”, I thought that it is about the X-men movie. Hmm… I’m wrong! Because it is actually Kyocera’s newest handset that will be made available to Virgin Mobile customers in the USA. Featuring a trendy clamshell design, the Cyclops comes in a red-and-white body. Weighing in at 3.5 ounces, it is very lightweight and easy on the eye. Being a clamshell, it features dual displays, including a bright internal color display and some pre-loaded games include Lumines Mobile, New York Nights, and Bikini Beach Party (yummy!), and many more games are available for download. It also comes with a 1.3MP digicam. Price tag is at US$99.99, and it will be available online from Virgin Mobile USA as well as retail outlets.

With just 15.5mm thick, the E-TEN X500 is the thinnest Windows Mobile Pocket PC edition phone so far. The phone runs on a 400MHz Samsung processor, has EDGE, 802.11b/g, GPS support, a 2MP camera, and Bluetooth 2.0 support. Sadly, there’s no slide-out keyboard.
