Samsung Serene Pricing Revealed

Samsung Serene Pricing Revealed

This is an update for my previous post. Samsung and Bang & Olufsen have just announced the availability of Serene, which sets to go on sale next month, priced at a whopping US$1275. The Serene combines advanced features with an innovative clamshell design. Just to refresh your mind, Samsung Serene provides a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT-LCD display, an ugly 0.3MP camera, WAP 2.0, and Bluetooth connectivity. All of these features are just a click away, using the unique thumb-operated navigation wheel, which also has a loudspeaker concealed behind it. During normal operation, the screen is placed at the bottom. When placed on a table, the screen reverses automatically at the touch of a button. I can describe this phone as a handset with a weird design. I never found this kind of handset before… Check out for phone gallery after the jump!

Kyocera Cyclops Phone for Virgin Mobile USA

Kyocera Cyclops Phone for Virgin Mobile USA

When the first time I heard the word “Cyclops”, I thought that it is about the X-men movie. Hmm… I’m wrong! Because it is actually Kyocera’s newest handset that will be made available to Virgin Mobile customers in the USA. Featuring a trendy clamshell design, the Cyclops comes in a red-and-white body. Weighing in at 3.5 ounces, it is very lightweight and easy on the eye. Being a clamshell, it features dual displays, including a bright internal color display and some pre-loaded games include Lumines Mobile, New York Nights, and Bikini Beach Party (yummy!), and many more games are available for download. It also comes with a 1.3MP digicam. Price tag is at US$99.99, and it will be available online from Virgin Mobile USA as well as retail outlets.
