The OpenMoko FIC Neo1973 is the world’s first Linux-based open source mobile phone. It looks awesome, it’s open source so it’s easily upgradable with new firmware; and if it catches on, it could give the iPhone a real run for its money! See the video after the jump!

The Neo1973 features a 2.8-inch (480×640) touchscreen display, Samsung s3c2410 SoC, a Global Locate AGPS chip, 128MB SDRAM, 64MB NAND Flash memory, and a microSD card slot.

Official Pictures of The LG Prada Phone

Here are some official pictures of the highly anticipated Prada Phone. As we told you last month, this phone is actually a modified version of the LG KE850 phone. It features a 3.0 inch wide touchscreen, 2MP shooter with Schneider-Kreuznach lens, Micro SD card slot for additional storage capacity, Bluetooth 2.0 support, and a media player.

Moreover, this handset will come preloaded with exclusive Prada content including a classy B&W theme, ringtones, and an exclusive leather case that inspired by the classic Italian craftsmen tradition. Measuring 98.8mm × 54mm × 12 mm, the Prada phone will be available at some selected Prada stores in the UK, France, Germany and Italy as of late February, 2007. It is expected to have the price tag of $780.
