Some dudes at PhoneScoop provides us with a video review of the Sony Ericsson W580i Walkman phone. The handset comes equipped with a 2.0-inch QVGA screen, 2.0MP digital camera, M2 card slot (512MB included), EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, USB connectivity, built-in FM tuner, and “music illumination” effects. Intel has recently showcased some interesting devices at IDF Fall 07. Most people will call this the Intel Phone, or the Intel iPhone. The handset will be powered by Intel’s Moorestown platform (a 45nm processor) and offers integrated graphics, video, and memory controllers, all packed into a single efficient chip. The Nokia 6301 adopts UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) technology which provides consumers seamless voice and data mobility across GSM cellular and WLAN networks. In case you didn’t know, the WLAN/UMA offers excellent coverage and sound quality, even in areas where mobile phone reception has previously been poor. Measuring 11.9mm thick, the phone also comes in shinning stainless steel, and an attractive desk stand, to hold the phone and keep its battery charged while connected to WLAN. Orange will offer this mobile phone for $330 as part of its Unik/Unique portfolio when it comes in October.

LG has just introduced a couple new colors for the Shine. They decided to make those after studying the demands of the consumers, apparently the Europeans want a Pink version, while the Asians prefer a Gold version. Both handsets will be available soon.

Here is a video of Samsung device that seems to be equipped with a “mini-joystick” or trackball similar to the BlackBerry 88xx series. There is a mouse cursor moving around on the touchscreen. FYI, this video was shot at GITEX in Dubai by someone at DinarSoft.
