
Verizon Wireless and Samsung have joined together to release the Verizon Wireless Gleam clamshell phone with Bluetooth support and up to 4GB of expandable memory with microSD memory card slot. The handset also provides a 240 x 320 pixel 262K TFT color internal display and 96 x 96 pixel 65K TFT external display. Measuring 3.88inch x 1.91inch x .55inch, the Gleam will be available for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

The HTC P6500 Sedna PDA phone is targeted for the business/enterprise. The device sports a Quadband GSM with EDGE, WCDMA tri-band and HSDPA connectivity. It also has a fingerprint sensor, 3.5 inch anti-glare display, 3MP camera, a built-in GPS, and two SDIO expansion slots for additional accessories. The gadget also features Qualcomm MSM7200 and 400MHz chipset. You can buy the HTC P6500 in November.

What makes this phone cool is that it has the rape alarm which when activated the handset automatically sends a SOS text message to five pre-programmed phone numbers. Designed by Giorgio Armani and manufactured by Samsung Electronics, the Giorgio Armani-Samsung Mobile will be available in major European countries from November 2007.
