Here is an unboxing video of the new Samsung SCH-i760 phone. The handset offers a stylus for quick and easy navigation on the touch-screen and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Other features include QWERTY keypad, stereo Bluetooth for both speakers and headsets and a 1.3MP digicam with flash. Sony Ericsson W200i Walkman Phone is now available in four new colors. Available in Grey, Mono Blue, Sweet Pink and Aquatic White, the phone works well with 900/1800/1900MHz GSM bands and comes equipped with 27MB internal memory in addition to the 256MB memory stick. It offers 7hours of talk time and 300 hours of stand by time. Other features include a 0.3MP shooter, 1.8 inch LCD display screen with resolutions of 128×160 pixels, USB, Infrared connectivity, and POP3 email.
Psion Teklogix launched the iKon PDA / smartphone that has a 3.7-inch VGA display, an integrated camera, built-in GPS, GSM / GPRS / UMTS connectivity options, Bluetooth, WiFi, a barcode scanner and your choice of Windows Mobile 6 Classic / Professional or CE.net 5. The smartphone will be released in December.
QuickSilver unveiled its new mobile phone concept which looks like PacMan. The handset comes equipped with a QVGA display, GPRS and EDGE connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, and a USB port. There is no info on whether this concept phone will go into mass production or not.
Samsung and Adidas have joined together to produce the Samsung F110 Adidas Phone. This 2.5G slider phone comes equipped with a 2-inch QVGA screen, 2MP digicam, FM radio and MP3 player. The mobile phone also features a heartbeat monitor, pedometer and some dedicated sports applications. The Adidas Phone will be launched in November.
The owner of the device will mainly not use the internet and e-mail while playing sports. However, the device can still handle this. Small disadvantage here is that quick dataconnections will not be possible with this device, this because the device is only a quad-band EDGE phone. In some European countries this means that data connections can only be made with GPRS.
