Samsung Will Start Manufacturing AMOLED Phones

Samsung has decided to manufacture AMOLED mobile phones and will release it for the Far East market. There are four new models are being developed initially. For your info, AMOLED is clearer than the LCD. LG Philips LCD, Sony and Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology are also developing AMOLED mobile phones.

GPS Enabled Samsung i560 Smartphone

Samsung will release its new slider type smartphone with integrated GPS receiver. Dubbed as Samsung i560, the handset is powered by Symbian S60 and is compatible with 3G and HSDPA (3G+) networks. The phone also features 2.4 inch LCD screen with 320×240 (QVGA) pixel resoulution, a superb 3.2 MP digital camera with 16x zoom, Bluetooth 2.0, and 150 MB of internal storage. The i560 will be available this holiday season.

Nokia N810 Internet Tablet

The Nokia N810 internet tablet is a successor to N800. It’s not really a cell phone, but rather more of a tablet PC with internet phone capabilities and can connect through your cell phone via Bluetooth. The gadget features a 4.3-inch widescreen display, 2GB of internal memory, TI OMAP 2420 processor, 128MB RAM, 256MB Flash, miniSD/microSD card slot, and a QWERTY keypad.
