Research In Motion (RIM) has decided to release its BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphone in Singapore later this month. As a reminder, the smartphone has a microSD/SDHC slot, 2MP shooter with 5x digital zoom and video capture capability, and Wi-Fi support. Its camera also allows users to capture video in two resolutions 240×180 or 176×144 for sharing via MMS.
The my220x phone features hands-free capability with speaker phone, 65k colour LCD screen, SMS with T9, dual-band and vibration alert. Priced at around $30, the phone offers a talk time of 180 minutes with 240 hours standby time.
