Disney D100 - The New Disney Mobile Phone

FCC has approved a Disney phone for kids, the Disney D100. This Quandband GSM phone is compatible with children of varying ages. Measuring 98.7 mm x 51.3 mm x 24.2 mm, the phone features two types of keypad (4 key or 12 key) and two security levels (normal or administrator) that allow parent to determine the mode of operation. A special code is required to change between the two levels of operation. A virtual timer feature allows you to set a total for their call times that they should try not to exceed. No word on pricing and availability yet.

InfoSonics, Alcatel, and ELLE are joined to offer an Exclusive GlamPhone ELLE in the US. The ELLE branded phone will be launched via a variety of ELLE advertising resources. It is targeted to ELLE’s loyal customer base of 4.8 million readers. This limited edition GlamPhone ELLE by Alcatel will be featured a reflective mirror-screen, and a VGA camera, along with an exclusive ELLE necklace. This phone works on GSM technology and is compatible with all GSM carriers in the United States.

LG L600V - 3G Music Phone for Vodafone

LG L600V - 3G Music Phone for Vodafone

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved L600V by LG Electronics. The LG L600V is a 3G phone that supports video call through its camera. This clamshell phone is only 67.5 grams. At the front of the display LCD, it has music player hot key, which lets you control the music player without opening the clamshell. Music files can be transferred from your PC through the USB connection. You can also use the microSD card to expand the file storage space. The phone works well at GSM900/DCS1800/PCS 1900, and WCDMA 2100. Other features include alarm clock, calendar, tasks, notes, calculator, currency and measure converter, world time, and voice recorder.

Sony Ericsson K618

The Sony Ericsson K618i is a tri-band (900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM phone with benefits of UMTS (2100) and 3G. It has a TFT 1.9 inch 262k color display (176×220 pixels), a 2.0MP digital camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also supports for A2DP, which means you can use this handset with your stereo Bluetooth headphones. The phone comes with a default 256MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) so you can store up to 230 music tracks and over 700 photos. Its music player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ playbacks. The K618 will be available in selected markets from Q3 2006. No word on the pricing as yet.
