Samsung and Adidas have joined together to produce the Samsung F110 Adidas Phone. This 2.5G slider phone comes equipped with a 2-inch QVGA screen, 2MP digicam, FM radio and MP3 player. The mobile phone also features a heartbeat monitor, pedometer and some dedicated sports applications. The Adidas Phone will be launched in November.
The owner of the device will mainly not use the internet and e-mail while playing sports. However, the device can still handle this. Small disadvantage here is that quick dataconnections will not be possible with this device, this because the device is only a quad-band EDGE phone. In some European countries this means that data connections can only be made with GPRS.
