DoCoMo Has Suspended BlackBerry Bold

DoCoMo of Japan has decided to suspend sales of the RIM BlackBerry Bold for the moment because of the handset’s overheating issues. The smartphone can overheat to dangerous levels while the battery is being juiced up. FYI, Orange has also suspended sales of this handset last year due to software issues. [DigitalTrends]

But it is still available in the market, right? I mean, it’s BlackBerry and besides, it’s such a hit in the professional world. I don’t have a BlackBerry and of course, I’d like to have one. But how dangerous could it be for DoCoMo to suspend it?
