NTT DoCoMo has decided to launch the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in the Japanese market this April. Powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, the Xperia X10 has a 4.0-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel shooter with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. The smartphone is also compatible with FOMA HIGH-SPEED, DOCOMO’s HSUPA/HSDPA data-communication service for extra-fast 2.0 Mbps uplinks and 7.2 Mbps downlinks. [Slashphone]
