The Israel-based Emblaze Mobile will release a new iPhone 3G competitor in the Russian market next month. Known as the Edelweiss, this handset comes equipped with a touch-screen display that produces 854 x 480 display resolution, which is higher than the iPhone and HTC Touch HD. Other specs are include an internal GPS and an option of 8 or 16GB of storage capacity. [Engadget]

Now thats is crisp. Good job competitors! need to make this technology more available price wise. Just a matter of time before you get a free version of these next generation phones with a contract.
