The Sony Ericsson Vivaz (or also known as the Sony Ericsson Kurara U5) has been approved by the FCC and will be known as the Sony Ericsson Vivaz U5a. The phone supports the UMTS II and V bands (1900MHz and 850MHz), which means those who are subscribing to AT&T and Rogers are able to use the Vivaz U5a on their 3G networks. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz U5a runs on the Symbian S60 5th Edition OS and features a 3.2-inch (360 x 640) touchscreen display, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, a GPS navigation system, a built-in accelerometer, Google Maps, Facebook and Twitter integration, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 720MHz processor, an 8GB memory card and an 8-megapixel Auto Focus camera with LED flash and HD video recording.
