Fujitsu Develops A New Wireless Charging System For Cell Phones

Fujitsu today announced the development of wireless recharging technology that enables the design of magnetic resonance-based wireless charging systems that can simultaneously recharge various types of portable electronic devices. The magnetic resonance method allows multiple portable devices to be charged simultaneously without restriction on their position. This technology also promises more compact and efficient power transmitters and receivers. Fujitsu plans to release this new wireless charging system in 2012. [Akihabara]
