HTC has announced the availability of their new Android smartphone ‘Desire‘ in India via Tata DoCoMo. The handset is sold for 28,900 INR (about $620) which includes a 500MB of free data for the first six months. To refresh your memory, the Desire packs a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP camera with flash, a 512MB ROM, a 576MB RAM, 3G, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Android 2.1 OS and supports both W-CDMA and GSM connectivities.
