HTC HD2 Released In India Via Tata DoCoMo

HTC and Tata DoCoMo have joined together to launch the HTC HD2 in India. Customers who buy the HTC HD2 from this network carrier will be able to browse the Internet and download 500MB of data per month for free (only in the first 6 months). For your info, the HD2 features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display with multitouch, Wi-Fi, GPS, a digital compass, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, a MicroSD card support and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. The HTC HD2 retails for 39,990 INR ($855) in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and 36,990 INR ($789) in other regions. [HTC]

Ok I’m so sick of these phones getting released oversees and taking six months to get to the US. Please can someone explain why this happens.
