Huawei has officially introduced their first ever phablet, the Ascend Mate 2. The handset packs a 6.1-inch 720p HD touchscreen display, a choice of either a 1.6GHz HiSilicon quad-core or 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8928 quad-core processor, a 2GB RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, dual cameras (5MP front & 13MP rear), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE connectivity, a 4050mAh battery and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with Huawei’s Emotion UI. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Unwiredview]
