Huawei has introduced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 smartphone ‘Honor 5C’ to its range. Featuring a full metal body, this mid-range smartphone sports a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD IPS display, an octa-core Kirin 650 (Cortex A53 – 4x 2GHz + 4x 1.7GHz) processor, a Mali T830 GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
The handset also has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens, a 13MP rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and LED flash, dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD) card slots and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Powered by a 3000mAh battery, the Honor 5C provides 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS for connectivity, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Huawei EMUI 4.1 on top.
Measuring 8.3mm thick and weighing 156 grams, the Huawei Honor 5C is currently available for pre-order in China for 899 Yuan (about $138) for the standard variant and 999 Yuan (about $154) for the dual 4G variant, respectively. [Product Page]
